Our Story
Dedicated to Patient Well-Being
MedUs of PA was founded by Sara Gilani, inspired by the vision of her
aunt, Dr. Syeda Mamoona Omer. A physician and professor of
nursing, Dr. Omer transformed personal loss into purpose when her
father passed away. Determined to bring dignity and compassion into
end-of-life care, she built Bonita Springs Healthcare Services in Gilroy,
California... a small, family-owned hospice rooted in empathy, and
later expanded to provide home care services in Pennsylvania.
Sara grew up with that example close to home as well... she saw her
own father live with polio syndrome and her brother face the
challenges of Autism. These experiences gave her an intimate
understanding of how much dignity and comfort depend on reliable
medical equipment.
MedUs of PA is her commitment to that belief. More than a supplier, the company is a family promise - renting and delivering high-quality, dependable equipment that supports patients, families and hospice providers, with compassion at every step.
